Aeterna Platforms, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the METIVAR port decarbonisation intelligence platform (“the Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your port data to train machine learning models. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 4.
Your port data is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase on servers located in the United States (US East region). Access is protected by row-level security — each user can only access their own organisation’s data.
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance.
Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account and port data for the duration of your licence agreement. If your licence lapses, your data is retained in read-only mode for 30 days, after which you may request export or deletion.

The Platform uses session cookies to maintain your login state. These are strictly necessary for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.
The Platform is intended for professional use by port authorities, terminal operators, and port tenants. It is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
